EY Tax indoor netball team finished on top in another tough and exciting encounter. This time we beat W.H.I. (we don't know what company that is) 44-41.
It was 41 each with two minutes left to play and W.H.I. were on a run. Shortly after EY pulled off a couple of crucial intercepts that Brian Habana would have been proud of (is it really an intercept when the All Blacks pass it straight to you?). That allowed Dead Eye Speedy to get two quick goals before Mighty Mike put the final nail in W.H.I.'s coffin with the last goal of the game (much to my relief - I'm a poor looser).
The match reporter (me) noted that Scott the Cocky Candian continues to improve while Dauntless Donna and Killer Kim (what else starts with a K?) were relentless in defence and the mid-court, both pulling off several intercepts. Personally I think I worked well with Mike in feeding Kelly quick ball which she duly put through the hoop.
